With the time flying at jet speed, I never realized how months went by. It has been 2 months of intense efforts, which we have been putting physically, mentally, emotionally as well as financially. The time to reap the rewards has come, finally!
Many people questioned me - what's the number? What profits are you making? Is this giving you any return? And some people I know, are envious of the fact thinking I might be minting money out of the retreat program. Lol. Tathastu to that!
There is something I wish to share. Not because someone has asked me to, but because I want to speak my heart.
Taking retreats (spiritual retreats) may be a cake walk for many people out there, Not for me! Taking retreats may be a way to mint money for many, not yet for me! Retreats may be a long term prosperity plan for many, not for me!
Taking retreats is a matter of LOVE, for me. Conducting spiritual retreats is MY DREAM!! It is about the intention of BEING there. Being of service to others. To me, taking retreats is fulfilling my heart's desire to travel and be of help to others, at the same time!
Taking retreats is about pushing myself out of my boundaries and in doing so, maybe inspire a few to do the same. For me, taking retreat is SATISFACTION.
When the participants break down and cry, when I see a bleak smile of change on their face, when I know they are churning from inside, when I can be available to them 24x7 for those days, when something inside them shifts, then, and only then, it satiates my heart, my being. I feel fulfilled. I feel accomplished. I feel I made a difference, a good one!
That, my friend, is my whole intention of doing retreats. Because sometimes, you need to get out of your house, break free of the mundane and let your spirit soar high... In adventure, in light, and in change...
