Law of attraction Series: 4. The tricky part.

Law of Attraction says:
ASK - BELIEVE - RECEIVE
So, if we split these to fit into the categories of the mind, asking is majorly related to conscious mind. We want all that which we think is desirable. We want things/people/situations that logically fit into our reality. That, is what the conscious mind is. Logic. Thinking.

Believing is majorly subconscious and receiving is very much related to the super conscious. We receive in accordance to our highest best. According to our choices and our soul plan both. Asking is easy. It doesn't take much time for people to know what they want and why they want it. Receiving will come in only after believing. Which, is what we have to look at.

BELIEVE. The second and the most important step in the law of attraction that each person emphasises upon. Whatever you wish to manifest, you have to believe that you will have it. And the question is, how many of us do really, genuinely believe? If I were to tell you right now, that you will be winning a sum of 10 million dollars, what is your first response in your head?
Ah. You are mad. How can this happen. It's not possible.
And what not! All sorts of things will come into your mind. This is the first step to know, if you truly, genuinely believe in manifesting something. Just check, with yourself before manifesting, using the same method. If your first thought or response is a negative thought or doubt or fear. Then, sorry. You will have a hard time manifesting it.

Why? Because there are numerous beliefs in your subconscious to stop you from achieving it. These beliefs obviously step from the previous experiences and life times. Thus, blocking the manifestation process. If I wish to manifest a relationship for my self, say a happy married life, then I will first ask my self: do I really believe that I can have a happy married life? Do i believe that I will have the best relationship? Maybe yes. Maybe no. Largely, it will depend on the relationships I have experienced in the past.

If I have had failed relationships, then believing that I will have a successful one can be tough. If I have experienced terrible relationships in the form of my parents marriage, or even seen failing marriages or relationships of my uncles and aunts then my subconscious may not truly believe in the concept of a happy relationship. Now this is just about this life time. Not to forget I will certainly have experienced relations in my previous life times as well. So all of that will also be taken into account by my subconscious to decide if I TRULY BELIEVE in happy married life. Now you see, my friend, how much more important it becomes to first look into the BELIEFS around any thing and everything we want to manifest.

So what is to be done? Stay tuned..

Law of Attraction Series: 3. What really controls LOA?

If using 12% of your total ability to focus on something and manifesting it in your life, is law of attraction you think, then wait till you read what I have to convey.

Using the conscious mind, focusing on what you want, is definitely one of the steps in the manifestation process. But not the entire process in itself.

The subconscious mind, is more powerful than what you could've ever imagined. Why do I say so? The subconscious mind, makes up for a good 80% of your entire mind. It stores all the information, all the memories, all the experiences from ALL of your precious lifetimes. ALL. Doesn't matter how many thousands of lives you may have had. All the information is right there. In your subconscious! Well, this is how past life therapy works, isn't it? Because it allows us to access the information form any of the lifetimes we want.

But why are we elucidating so much on the past lives and the subconscious? Why do you think all the experiences are stored? Why do you think all of the good and bad memories are there in the mind? Why at times, even when you are about to do something for the first time, you have a FEELING about it? Why somethings FEEL positive and somethings FEEL negative to you? Yes. This is all because of these past stored experiences. They still have an impact on you. Still!

Do you remember, an incident from your childhood where you felt pain, or felt judged or were put down? How does that feel? If you were to be put in a similar situation, what would your response be? The same feeling of pain or judgement will resurface most likely, isn't it? Imagine if, just one memory form the childhood can impact you even now, what about all those countless times and memories of your previous life times. Although you may not be aware of them in your conscious reality, however because they are still present in the subconscious, they impact you subconsciously.

How? These memories, experiences and incidents are stored in the subconscious as beliefs! The big word. BELIEFS! What ever you experience a couple of times, the subconscious doesn't take much time to form a belief regarding the same! If you have been rejected by people who you loved, twice or thrice, the fourth time, even if you like someone, before approaching him/her you yourself will automatically have this thought: what's the point? I get rejected all the time. What if I get rejected again?

This thought, this fear, this doubt, where does it come from? How did it originate? It came to you, because in your past, you have faced a similar situation. Be it past from this life time or other. Now you understand, BELIEFS. Beliefs are formed and these beliefs are the culprits most of the times for  creating an obstacle in your manifestation process.

Your subconscious mind is in reality, controlling your life in ways you don't even understand or can fathom. It took me a while to realise this. And since then, no, life hasn't become any easy, i have become AWARE. And this awareness is helping me in many ways unexplainable. Knowing the powers of the subconscious not only helps with manifestation, but also so much release and cleansing of the baggage that we've been carrying all along unknowingly.

What is the significance of the subconscious in the law of attraction? Stay tuned..

Law of attraction Series. 2: Understanding the working.

The law states: whatever you focus on, you attract that into your life. Simple.

So is the power of thoughts not enough for  manifestation? If this is what you ask, I say, yes. It's not enough. I will not deny the fact that the power of thought is very much required in the process. However, it, on its own is not enough.

When you talk about the mind, it's important to look at the various layers of the mind as well. The superconscious mind, the conscious mind, the subconscious, and the unconscious mind. You may ask, how do these layers come into picture. Of course they do! There is a reason to everything and so, there is a reason to our layers of the mind too.

The super conscious or our higher self, is important because what we choose to ask, if is in alignment with it, the manifestation process accelerates. If it is not aligned with the super conscious, it may take more time. The super conscious mind could also be referred to as the higher collective consciousness. It knows very well what is in our highest best. By which I mean, what is in, and according, to our soul plan. That plan which is designed by us for our highest spiritual growth and learning in this lifetime, at the soul level before we are born.

Majority of the times, however, these things bring us hard life experiences, to learn and grow from them. So does it mean that the super conscious will not manifest all that we desire. No. It will. All it asks us to do is, to LEARN those lessons which we are supposed to, and acknowledge the gifts in those difficult times and integrate them all. Upon this integration, the manifestation happens faster and with ease, and grace.

You may again ask, how am I to integrate or learn the lessons which I am supposed to; for this lifetime? The answer to which lies in the lower layers of the mind. The subconscious and the unconscious.

The conscious mind, as we all know, is home to the thoughts. It is like the data collector. It uses all the 5 senses and collects all the data around us and inputs it into our system. By which I mean our subconscious mind. We have been fooled to believe that the conscious mind is the most powerful thing. And guess what! Believing that, people have actually generated results for them.

As much as the conscious mind is vital in the law of Attraction/manifestation process, we shouldn't forget that the other layers of the mind come into play too. Probably far more than what we could've imagined.

Now, what if I tell you that, there is something even more powerful than the conscious mind? What if your conscious mind is merely 10 - 12 % of your true potential? Would you ever imaging what could you achieve if you tapped into the rest of the 80%? Imaging how much better your manifestation would be? And then, my friend, law of attraction will be the most beautiful thing you will have ever known.

How do you do that? How do you get there? To know, stay tuned..

Law of attraction Series! 1: What is LOA?

There are many myths, beliefs and questions around the law of attraction and it's working. Does it work? Is it really a way to attract what one wants in life? Or is it merely a gimmick? So many questions! I have seen people with numerous ideas about law of attraction. From praising it to criticising it, to everything in between.

Let's just first understand, what exactly is the Law of Attraction? Which many known names and every other spiritual person swears by.

Please note, all the information in this text series is an understanding of my own. Of what I have learned throughout. You are of course, free to choose and believe or disregard it outright.

Speaking about Law of Attraction, the very famous book - The secret - describes it as attracting a life of your choice. To attract, in itself, means to bring to you. Or to draw closer something which you desire or want. So, what can a law possibly be doing around attraction?

LOA says: what you focus on, is what you attract into your life.

Law of attraction is the power of thoughts, the mind. Using the power and focus of the thoughts to bring about a change and manifest things, according to many people. However, as much as the mind comes into picture, the aspects of mind aren't really looked at closely. That is where majority of the problems arise. For us, mind is equal to thoughts. The head. The thinking. Which very well is a part of the mind, but not the complete mind in itself.

Therefore, like many others, if you think that law of attraction is using the power of thoughts to attract all that you want in your life, then, my friend, in my opinion, it's not going to happen. Why? Stay tuned..

When the escape becomes your routine..

So what happens when all the emotions come crashing down when the routine has set in or you are accustomed to your new life?

It's quiet possible that all the emotions feel stronger than ever. Like, you have been never hurt like that before. The past is clear in your eyes and the grief is still fresh. It can be quiet tough at this point in time to allow your emotions to fully come up and feel them. After all, this is what you have been running away from, all this while! So in such situations what should you do?

Here are a few points you want to consider to help you in grieving fully:

- Become Aware of your feelings. The first step is always acknowledging them.

- ACCEPT. Accept the past. This can be the most difficult of all things to do. Acceptance brings peace. Try to accept your past. I know it's easier said than done. However acceptance is an important aspect.

- Allow the feelings to come up. This will happen immediately after acceptance (if you have accepted). The hurt and pain will show up. Let it. Or else if you haven't accepted yet, allowing the pain to come up will help.

- Feel your emotions fully. And then RELEASE them. What majority of us don't realize is that we have to feel and release. Not feel and hold back to feel some more at a later point. So. Feel and release.

- Use ways which will help you in releasing. It could be sad music, or a material object associated to your grief, or simply writing all the past on a piece of paper. Give it a tangible form and the release process will turn out better.

- And last but not the least, know that it is your feelings. Your emotions. It will take time. And patience. So be patient with Your self. For some, the grief is so strong and built up over decades, and for some it is built up in layers and layers over connecting issues at times, so it naturally takes a lot of releasing and feeling the pain again and again. It will take time. Be gentle with yourself. As you release bit by bit.

- And to make sure that anything else DOESN'T collect in your mind body and system, from now on, give yourself the freedom to feel your most intense emotions fully. And let them go. FEEL. AND. RELEASE. This, my friend, is also being TRUE to yourself.

The most important aspect here being, being patient and gentle with yourself. The grieving process can be intense and tiring. Allow yourself time and enough space. Allow yourself to feel fully and then let it all go. I have realized this one simple thing..

The moment I accept my past, is the moment peace replaces the feelings of anger and hurt and pain.. It's all about accepting the past. And knowing that IT HAS HAPPENED. And nothing else can be done except making peace with it.

This affirmation really helpes in accepting all that is:

I now fully accept my past as it was. I choose to make peace with it.

Say this affirmation 21 times each, 3 times a day for 40 days. And you will definitely notice the difference.

BLESSED BE.. 💙💚💙

Work too much?

Pause. This might be for you.
Hurt. Pain. Grief. Are some of the emotions which people usually shy away from. During the times of intense emotional breakdown, majority, from the masses do not wish to face the pain and the grief. And in doing so, they tend to aviod the emotions. As much as denial and shock are ways in which the emotions could be avoided, taking to work also is one.

I have come across many, who, just choose to ignore their feelings and get themselves busy with work. So much so that they drown themselves in work. There is nothing more in their life, but work! There is constant activity around them. They choose to immerse themselves (and their conscious mind) in their work that there is seldom any time to even think about the hurt and pain. Be it after the loss of a loved one, or a break up or any major hurtful experience.

I, myself, once was prey to being workaholic. Constantly doing so much that eventually at the end of the day, I would be drop dead tired and go to sleep. Only to continue with the same routine. Giving myself no time to go back to the dreadful experiences I've had. Day after day after day.

There is no problem with work. The problem is when you choose it as a defence mechanism to not feel your feelings. Either because you are too scared to accept. Or because you cannot let go! In the end, it boils down to NON-ACCEPTANCE of what has happened. While in that phase, everything 'seems' to be normal and life 'seems' to continue just fine.

Shit hits the fan, when the work's over! Or when the body and mind are accustomed to the new routine, so much that it no longer takes any conscious effort to do the same. It becomes a part of you. That, is when all the bottled up, unspoken, unexpressed feelings of hurt and pain come crashing down. Stronger. Because all this while, those emotions did nothing but get suppressed inside. And that, is the real trouble. Where you don't know what to do next.

The feelings, which you 'assumed' to no longer be there, come pouring down. With no where to go. And at this point of time, it becomes all the more painful to even think about them, let alone release them. Which requires reliving those experiences and feeling the pain. One more time.
